Physiotherapy

Physical therapy begins with a thorough musculoskeletal evaluation to determine the pieces that contribute to the symptoms you're experiencing. Throughout your treatment, various methods will be used to address these pieces. This may include exercises, manual therapy, dry needling, activity modification, and more.

Welcome! Glad to have you here. I’m here to help you uncover and navigate a space that is often ignored or treated as taboo.

My career in women’s health physical therapy traces back to my undergraduate degrees in exercise science and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies from Ohio State University. This background in these fields led me to pursue and receive my doctorate in physical therapy from Regis University here in Denver. Working as an orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapist, I continued to recognize the importance of merging the fields of orthopedics and women’s health. This leads to my treatment philosophy of treating the whole person, not just isolated pieces. I recognize that the pelvic floor is not an isolated piece of anatomy, but rather an important part of a system. When one or more parts of a system is broken, this is often linked to other parts that aren’t able to do their jobs well. Identifying and addressing these links is crucial to finding long-term success. I can’t wait to help you find the root of your issue and empower your growth!

Nice to meet you! I’m super excited to work with you to get you back on track to living the life you love. I use a holistic and well-rounded approach with my patients considering functional mobility, mental and physical health, lifestyle, diet, hormone influence, and so much more. I care very deeply about my patients and am always determined to get to the root cause of what is holding you back. I received my B.S. in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University near my home city in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I then went on to become a NASM certified personal trainer which inspired me to get my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. I come from a family of women’s health focused healthcare providers rooting all the way back to my grandmother who worked as a labor and delivery nurse. Carrying on the family tradition, I decided to specialize in women’s health and pelvic floor physical therapy and participated in training through the University of Pittsburgh’s renowned pelvic health residency program. This training in combination with my background in general orthopedic physical therapy equipped me to help you with all things pelvic floor and more! In my personal time, I love any activity that involves being outdoors or moving my body! My newest hobbies that I’ve been getting into are running and pickleball. I’ve probably dabbled in every activity under the sun and some of my favorites include snowboarding, skiing, hiking, yoga, weight lifting, paddle boarding, biking, and all community team sports. Colorado is an incredible place to be active and enjoy life so I’m here to help keep you moving and get you back to the lifestyle you love.
